THE TOMMY ARMOUR STORY

Tommy Armour may be a Hall of Famer with three Major titles, but we celebrate him here for entirely different reasons.

In 1927, our patron saint, managed to delicately caress 10 balls in a row into the water on the 17th hole at the Shawnee Open, to eventually card an 18 over 23 on ONE hole!

Incredibly, a week later the "Silver Scot" went on to win his first major at the 1927 US Open at Oakmont.

So when it inevetiably goes completely sideways for you during your round, just remember, there is hope for you yet!
